There will never be a perfect time to pursue your dreams. We always wait and wait and wait. We have to stop waiting for the perfect moment. Whatever you want, do it now. Take action towards your goals now, because life is too short.
My parents taught me to never give up and to always believe that my future could be whatever I dreamt it to be.
Yes, I felt "comme un garçon" on this wednesday afternoon, wearing a bermudas with flats and a minimal top. Simple but efficient! By the way I found this pair of shoes here in New York, I have already exactly the same pair but with heels!
Have you ever dream being a man for 1 day? Everything seem so simple in their life, no heels, no make up, no hair to brush (well it depends for who...) and the most important is how they think. Because, we all know truth : the Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus ( by the way I would love to read this book, I will and I need it!). Men and women are not fundamentally different we still have a lot in common, we just sometimes don't express it in the same way.
Sorry for this little "Philosophical" text but I needed it ! I love to be a woman and I don't want to change at all for the other gender, even if their life seem more simple our life is more exciting!
Today I am very excited to announce a new collaboration with the jewel brand LindseyMarie.
I designed a necklace/bracelet for a blogger contest which started on monday on the social media. The winner will have her design included in the permanent jewel collection of LindseyMarie. It is very important and I NEED YOU ALL! It will take you 2 seconds only.
Hello Tuesday! So here we are, I am approaching my last week here in New York and I am definitely trying to enjoy the most my time in this city. I felt like times go way too fast here, I can't believe that the end is coming. There is a lot of reason why I love this city so much and even more now that my best friends are living here. I don't even want to think about going back to Switzerland even If I am very happy to see my family again and a lot of projects are coming, I just want to stay here. I know that this is not the real life that I'm spending here (shopping and sightseeing all day, is that a job?) but I feel so good and peaceful here, it's like if all this agitation around me make me wanna go and go again without to stop. The city is my motor.
On Monday, it was memorial day in United States. It is a day for remembering the men and women who died while serving in the country's armed forces. During this special day the weather was gorgeous and perfect for spending the day in a Park. We went to Batterie Park after buying some food and we stayed there all day, listening to some music and chilling. These kind of moments are priceless and we just want to stop the time for a while and just enjoy.
As the weather was very hot (~30°C), I was wearing my new high-waist short from American Apparel. I am seriously thinking about to get it in a other color… I love the cut so much. I pair it with my little cropped-top that I received from H&M during my Weekend in Crans-Montana a few weeks ago. I felt like ready for Coachella (but too late…)
Hello Peeps! I wish you a happy monday, I hope you guys had an amazing weekend! For me it was an epic weekend with a lot of parties even during the afternoon, I didnt stop! It feels so good to enjoy a beautiful day in Brooklyn with my friends to relax. We had such bad weather the last days that it was like a miracle to have a wonderful sunday like this! I went to Dumbo (this amazing place in Brooklyn where you can see Manhattan) after crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked by the piers the entire afternoon. Walking and walking again… As a reward we ate a burger at Shake Shack at the end of the day. This is definitely the best fast food in New York, it is the "BURGER'S HEAVEN", if you come here you have to stop there!
I was wearing a sporty-chic outfit, a little timeless dress from H&M with my new pair of sandals from Steve Madden. I felt so comfortable all day.
We keep going with a new day in town! When I said that we have always something to do in this city, I wasn't lying. We took this pictures at the end of a long day walking through the city and exploring some little streets. Can you see on my face how exhausted I was? I am sure that you can, because I was falling asleep in the train to go back home! Here, I always feel like sleeping is wasting time… After 2 weeks of intensive life here in New York, I start to have the New Yorker rhythm - No sleep, a lot of party, junkfood and shopping! I did a little stop in a MAC store, the prices are way cheaper than in Switzerland! I got a few things that I was looking for, I will show you my new make-up in a other article!
But back to the real interesting purpose - The outfits. During my wednesday I was again wearing my flats but I definitely love them so much! Sorry to disappoint you, but here if you plan to have a long day in town and you are wearing a pair of heels, I would call that a suicide!
My little Kimono? A real crush in a H&M store a few days ago. I have a kind of obsession with kimono (you can see an other style in my article CONEY ISLAND). It is so effortless to wear and I love that one from Love & Lemons, I am actually thinking about to get it!
The beautiful weather was back in town on tuesday and it was the perfect occasion to wear a dress for a new day in NYC. During my day I walked around the city and as a friend of mine is in town for the first time, we did a total sightseeing day. We walked from Union square to the Flatiron building, with a little stop near the Empire State building and we finished at Macy's…(a little shopping never killed nobody!). I can promise that comfy shoes and clothes were necessary for a day like this, even more that the sun was shining all day!
I found this dress here in New York. It is a classic model that I wanted and I am pretty sure that I am going to wear it a lot this summer! It was the first time that I wore my new pair of flats from Blink (available Fashionfriends.ch) and they were so perfect for walking all day, I was surprised!
